Cheruku Srikanth
Srikanth is a finance & accounting professional with over 20 years of professional experience encompassing accounting, financial management, audit, internal control implementation, software project management and software product development. He started his career at PwC where he worked in their assurance division & thereafter worked at outsourced arm of an International bank, in Bangalore where he was involved in providing account services to retail customers of the bank in USA.
He then worked in a few small accounting firms for two years before starting his own accounting and bookkeeping services business and diversified the services business to provide legal outsourcing and also software development with focus on developing modules in accounting and financial processes to customers in USA. He has over twenty years of rich & diverse experience in multiple domains encompassing bookkeeping, accounting, financial management, reporting, auditing, outsourcing, software project management and software product development.
Based on his experience in professional services, Srikanth realised that the key challenge faced by businesses, is the non-availability of accurate, reliable and compliant financial data in real-time, which was leading to multiple upstream inefficiencies, delayed reporting and delays in decision making. To solve this problem, Srikanth wanted to find a way to eliminate errors and discrepancies in bookkeeping, accounting & transaction processing and automate the processes in a way that it generates output which is accurate, reliable, compliant and most importantly real-time, which would empower business managers and owners deliver significantly better outcomes for their businesses. This led to him creating IDOS based on over three years of R&D and multiple trial & errors and he developed the functional architecture and the interface whereby every type of transaction is processed by enabling the user to answer simple questions which do not need knowledge of accounting, tax or internal controls and the software completes accounting, ledger posting in compliance to internal controls and tax. He further went on to develop more transformational capabilities which were possible to be built on core of IDOS including eco-system engagement and liquidity optimisation which enable transformational changes, in terms of how accounting and financial management is handled by businesses of all sizes and is also transforming multiple elements of commerce, accounting and financial operations including digital lending, bill discounting, borrower management by banks, vendor and procurement management, dealer & distributor management, customer engagement, hub & spoke accounting, real-time consolidation of accounts, remote and real-time audit, automated internal audit and so on.
Srikanth is the product owner at IDOS and his focus is on product development, strategic alliances and business expansion. He is a frequent speaker at prestigious forums on entrepreneurship, fintech and digital transformation in accounting & financial management and is a Member of National Committee on IT & ITES at CII.
Alexander Reife
Alex is the co-founder of IDOS and he conceived the idea and developed the functional architecture to embed internal financial controls into accounting process to support real-time internal control compliance and also developed the functional architecture to embed expenditure budgets during transaction processing. He comes with several years’ experience in project management, budgeting, financial analysis, audit and international development.
He holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology & Pre-Med from Georgetown University, Double Master’s in Public Policy & Administration and International Relations from The George Washington University, USA and Maters in Marketing from St.Petersburg State University, Russia and a PhD in Economics from Moscow, Russia.
He started his career at World Bank and during his corporate career spanning over 20 years, he also worked with contractors involved in International Development Projects and managed bookkeeping, financial management, payroll, internal audit and reporting for multiple projects spread across South America, Eastern Europe and South East Asia and gained significant experience in matters related to accounting and financial management, remote project management and issues related to data management and reporting. Having worked across multiple geographies he understands the cultural nuances that exist in work environments in different countries, unique accounting & reporting challenges at Head Quarters and at branch or project offices, periodic reporting and compliance challenges where cross-cultural and cross-country professionals are involved and he brings all this learning and experience into IDOS to ensure that the product can meet the requirements of such business operations and can become a tool which can make accounting & financial management processes frictionless for businesses with multiple branches and projects. As co-founder of IDOS, he manages product strategy for International markets, strategic collaborations and Business development and is also a guest faculty for Economics at a University in St.Petersburg, Russia where he occasionally delivers lectures.
Sowmyanarayan Sampath
Sowmya is a Chartered and Cost Accountant with about 25 years of professional experience in advisory, controllership, strategy, risk management and processes, His career spans about 15 years with the Global advisory firms like PwC, Andersen and Ernst and Young and over a decade of experience with marquee financial service corporations like MetLife and Munich Re where he led the Finance and Internal audit functions.
He has managed accounting, financial management, taxation and advisory practices at marque organization and earned a commendation from various quarters for his professionalism, attention to detail and subject matter expertise. As the Director and CFO at IDOS, he is part of the Leadership team managing business strategy, finance, compliances and in parallel Heads Enterprise & Platform business of IDOS.
Sunil Namdev
Sunil is an experienced engineer with excellent skills in designing, developing and managing various applications on Core Java, Scala, JEE/J2EE, Weblogic Server, Spring, hibernate, Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, Oracle, MySQL etc...
He also has an extended experience in critical product development & delivery, project development, web applications and client - server application, He has worked on different domains like finance, Telecom, GSM, Workforce Management, Order Management, Number portability, GSM Roaming Billing, Telecom Planning, OSS, Health care and customization of ERP. He is the Chief Technology Officer of IDOS and holds the distinction of coding the entire IDOS application with limited support for the first three years. He brought the product to a mature level in terms of its performance and capabilities and helped IDOS win marque customers and partners. He has set up stringent coding standards and development and deployments protocols to ensure that the product meets and exceeds user expectations on consistent basis.
Sudhir Gadgil
Sudhir has over 2 decades of experience in IT industry, As an engineer, he started his career in TCS and prior to IDOS he was managing deliveries for large OSS and BSS projects at Tech Mahindra and he was earlier involved in supporting software product startups in telecommunications and banking domain.
He comes with significant experience in web apps, mobile apps, cloud, big data, transaction processing systems using mainly Java and other open source technologies. He holds a certification in Block Chain from IBM and also a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford. At IDOS, Sudhir handles all aspects associated with information security, data privacy, cloud infrastructure management, technology integrations, product testing, technology architecture for enterprise projects, manpower planning for product engineering team and process setup for product development.
Dhivya Vijeyakumar
Dhivya is a specialist in cross functional and cross domain processes including technology, sales, accounting, financial management and taxation. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and started her career at IBM as a consultant in the Technology Services Division.
She then qualified as a Chartered Accountant and gained expertise in finance, planning and analysis at Viteos Capital Market Pvt Ltd a company with specialisation in providing technology solutions for investment operations, where she handled financial accounting, planning, budgeting and management reporting. Prior to IDOS she was providing consulting services in finance and accounts to SME Companies as a “Virtual CFO”. At IDOS she heads R&D and supports Business Excellence Processes encompassing product enhancement, new feature / capability development, implementation of processes for effective coordination between domain and technology teams. She even works with partners and customers to identify white spaces, if any in different versions and deployments of IDOS to ensure that the product delivers significant value to our customers on a consistent basis.
Bhaskar Pramanik
Mr. Bhaskar Pramanik is an accomplished management leader and professional from the Technology Industry. He has held National and Global Leadership positions in leading Multinational Technology Companies. He was the Chairman of Microsoft India till September 2017.
Before this, he was the Managing Director of Oracle Corporation and Sun Microsystems in India. He was also the Global VP for Commercial Systems at Sun Microsystems Inc based out of Menlo Park, CA. He is an engineering graduate from IIT Kanpur and has over 45 years of experience in the Indian IT industry, He is currently an Independent Board member and Advisor to companies. He is also on the Advisory Board of Schulich University, Toronto, Canada, and Bennet University, Noida, India and is a Senior Advisor at one of World’s largest independent financial advisory group Rothschild & Co. He speaks regularly at Industry and Leadership forums. His major interests are in areas of Culture and Strategy; Leadership and Organization Excellence; Corporate Governance; Innovation and Transformation; and the future social and economic impact of Advanced Technologies. He advises IDOS on matters related to organization structuring, building organizational culture, business growth strategy in line with corporate mission and supports business development activities of IDOS.
Krishnan Iyer
Krishnan is a finance and strategy professional with over 25 years of experience in the fields of Strategic Planning, Risk Management, M&As, Private Equity, and Banking.
He presently is a Board Member, and Key Influencer in a Family Office, that manages assets of over $1billion in the logistics sector; a Board Member in India’s largest polymer processor (NSE/BSE listed) that has a presence in over 57 countries, Advisor to one of India’s oldest private sector banks (NSE/BSE listed), Non-Executive Board Member in India’s first Continuum/Palliative Care Company and an Investor/Advisor/Director to Tech companies and Start-Ups in the FinTech space. He has overseen and executed M&A/Buy-Out transactions of over $5 bn, multiple fund raises totalling $600 million; has worked alongside central banks and commercial banks on regulations and restructuring assets. He has invested in, and continues to mentor start-ups across India, Singapore and the US. His views on the industry is often sought by SWFs, Foreign Institutional Investors, Domestic Financial Institutions, Mutual Funds and Research Analysts. Krishnan is a graduate of BITS (Pilani) India, a post-graduate alumnus of MIT-Sloan School of Management and a certified Accounting (IFRS) specialist.
James Winterbotham
James is an investor in IDOS and also a member on the Advisory Board of the Company. He has built a successful career spanning nearly four decades in domestic and emerging market finance, on the main board of world's leading financial advisory and asset management firm Lazard in London and later with his own cross border business (International Advisory Partners) with offices in London and Mumbai, advising multinationals at a senior level on India strategy and running a listed India small cap portfolio.
He has over two decades of experience in India and has a profound understanding of the country, in addition to other Asian and African emerging markets. He possesses an excellent grasp of the ethical and regulatory contexts in which financial services businesses operate, particularly in emerging markets. James has an MPhil in History of Art at the Courtauld Institute in London and BA in History at Cambridge (double First). He advises IDOS on aspects pertaining to business growth strategy, international expansion, building and supporting the board, establishing the investment process, setting up robust compliance systems as well as investor relations.
Amaresh Ramaswamy
Accomplished leader, passionate about building and scaling organizations that solve large customer problems, and helping brazen founders that challenge status quo and move the world forward. He was until recently the CFO at Microsoft India and has held multiple leadership roles in finance, strategy and business development at Microsoft and Hewlett Packard. Amaresh founded the Microsoft Accelerator the-pre-eminent destination for top startups in India, co-founded HP Venture Finance with over $200M of startup investments in the Bay Area and supported M12 Microsoft Ventures in India.
Amaresh has a proven record of managing a $7 billion global P&L at Microsoft, launching innovative financial services programs and structuring over $300 million of enterprise deals at Hewlett-Packard, authoring emerging market playbooks, crafting the mobile strategy for the $300 million Windows Phone business, and managing multi-million dollar product acquisitions at Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard. Respected thought leader able to identify emerging market trends and opportunities early. Impactful in start-up, high growth and turnaround situations. He has been an active Angel investor, board member and advisor for entrepreneurs and startups in India and the US with multiple exits & failures. He holds an MBA from Cornell University, MS from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras and is currently a Venture Capitalist and a Senior Advisor at Zinnov Management Consulting. Amaresh is an investor in IDOS and is also a Director on our Board of Directors and advises the company in matters related to product, sales and pricing strategies.
Prathibha Sastry
Prathibha is a seasoned professional with over two decades of a celebrated career with Entrepreneurship and entertainment having been the key themes in her work life. She handled cross functional roles at the very best start-up accelerators including Microsoft Accelerator and T-Hub and she has worked closely with almost 100 plus Entrepreneurs / Startups and interacted with more than 2000 startups.
She managed the setting up of Investor Relations Programs, mentor networks and customer connect programs. Currently she sits on the board of a multi-million Dollar Company as an Independent Director and works actively with female led startups and is a strategic advisor to Encubay, a diversity focused accelerator and Vruksh Ecosystem, which is focused on enabling Entrepreneurship in different parts of India with primary focus on tier 2 and tier 3 towns.
Prathibha is recipient of the British Council’s Young Creative Entrepreneur- India 2008-09 and has represented theCountry at the International Young Creative Entrepreneurs Program held in London in October, 2008. In the past she has been a radio jockey with World Space, written for newspapers like Bangalore Mirror and others. She also has been a contributing author on books like Indian Cinema and Women Entrepreneurs published by Pal Mcgrave. As a member of advisory board at IDOS, she supports the management on matters associated with building professional work culture where women employees are empowered, implementation of POSH protocols as per government guidelines and creating an engaging and impactful work environment in the Company.
